Healthbeat is inviting New York’s public health community to step into the spotlight and share the stories that show why this work matters, in their own words.

The weekly report will bring context to a broad scope of news around global public health, to show how it’s all connected - and what it means for Americans.

Healthbeat invites people working on public health issues to step into the light and share the stories that reveal why this work matters, in their own words. Here's how to participate.

As health and science research is disrupted or canceled, longstanding policies on vaccines and other disease prevention are upended, global aid is cut off, and federal health funding cuts trickle down to communities, Healthbeat is here to help you navigate what it all means.

Dr. Marisa Donnelly will provide reports every week on infectious disease threats, the latest intelligence on vaccines and other essential information.

We're a team at Civic News Company and KFF Health News working to tell the story of public health in America.
